Excelitas buys Hereaus Nobellight
“Heraeus Noblelight is a leader in the specialty lighting market and has a strong position in market access, problem-solving expertise and technological breadth. We are convinced that this agreement will further drive Heraeus Noblelight’s stable growth path of recent years,” said Jan Rinnert, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Heraeus Group.
The sale is expected to close by the end of 2023, subject to customary closing conditions and receipt of required regulatory approvals.

Heraeus Noblelight is a global market and technology leader for specialty light sources in the wavelength range from ultraviolet to infrared. The company develops and manufactures lamps, emitters and systems with a high vertical range of manufacture. They are used in analytical measurement technology, in industrial processes such as drying, hardening or moulding, in medical technology and in the disinfection and treatment of air and water.
Heraeus Noblelight is headquartered in Kleinostheim, Germany, and operates production facilities in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, China and Japan, as well as sales units in Europe and parts of Southeast Asia. The company employs around 850 people.
