Altair has currently added six new products to its portfolio. The new additions enhance the simulation and design capabilities of Altair customers in areas such as automotive painting processes.
These include „Alsim Paint Shop“ from Engineering Software Steyr (ESS), a toolbox with a scalable product line that covers the entire painting process from pre-treatment to baking, providing full control over the most expensive process in automotive manufacturing. Also included is „Alsim Merge“ from ESS, which enables the processing of complex three-dimensional (3D) input data in a variety of formats. It thus provides users with simulation-ready surface meshes. The main advantages include one-click data import and short runtimes without the need for manual intervention.
